CUSTOM PAINTING SERVICE

Hoosier Historic Enterprises has a custom painting service, catering to wargamers and miniature collectors. We specialize in 25-30 mm fantasy and science fiction, but we do other scales and genres as well.

PAINTING RATES (updated 3/2/05):

25mm characters (display quality): infantry, $20.00 each. cavalry, $35.00 each. (for custom heraldry, add $5.00.)

25mm troops: infantry: $10.00 each; cavalry: $15.00 each.

15mm: infantry: $3.00 each; cavalry: $4.50 each.

Larger models, those requiring great amounts of assembly, modifications, contest-quality paint jobs, etc., will vary greatly in price. Contact us with a description of what you want and we will give you an estimate.

Rates are subject to change. Rates assume that the client is providing the models; if we provide the miniatures as well as the painting, prices will be adjusted accordingly.

Please give a description or show picture, etc., of color scheme to be used. If customer does not provide color scheme, the artist will go with personal preference. Price includes cleanup of mold lines, assembly (if needed), painting, and basing. Please let us know how the pieces are to be based, as this varies with each game system.

Turnaround time will depend on how many pieces are ahead of yours, as well as the quantity and quality of the workmanship desired. We will do our best to fulfill deadlines within reason, but we will let you know if we are unable to do so for some reason.

 

SAMPLES:

This is my first attempt at "non-metallic metallics" technique on the sword. This model was originally an elf, but the customer requested that the ears to be made more humanlike. Price for similar work: $20.00

Slann mage-priest. Customer requested model not be placed on flight stand, and spiky bits to be left off bottom of model. Price for similar work: $40.00

Mordian Iron Guard. Price for similar work: $100.00

Custom heraldry representing the Middle Kingdom for the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism); price for similar work: $25.00
